Lexington Avenue Brewery (Asheville, NC): Oasis in the thick of the busy shopping district

On Lexington Avenue, in Asheville’s “Shop and Dine” district, you’ll find more than 30 businesses all packed in one tiny area. It’s busy and lively but if you need to sit with a beer and take in the local foot traffic or relax after a day of shopping, we found the perfect spot: Lexington Avenue Brewery or LAB, as the locals term it.

Live music in the evenings draws the crowd when the sun goes down but during the day, pick a table on their outdoor patio facing the street. It’s great for some prime people-watching!
